Biophilic Meets Function: Workspace Solutions for a Leading Korean Car Manufacturer
Share
We’re proud to have completed a recent project with a leading Korean car manufacturer at their newly renovated biophilic-inspired corporate office in Kuala Lumpur. This collaboration showcases how thoughtful, scalable furniture solutions can elevate both form and functionality in a dynamic workspace.
To align with their nature-inspired design theme, we supplied a diverse range of Versalink HAT systems, each tailored to specific team needs—from collaborative zones to executive corners.
1. HAT Benching System (Rectangle Worktop with Screen Panels)
In the main open-plan area, we installed a significant number of HAT benching systems, complete with rectangular worktops and calm-toned screen panels. These stations foster team collaboration while providing subtle personal space, acoustics, and visual privacy—ideal for high-performance departments in need of a focused yet open setup.
2. Freestanding HAT Workstations (Customs Worktops)
To support teams working more independently within an open space, we also delivered a notable quantity of freestanding HAT desks with slanted chamfered worktops. These flexible stations are perfect for individuals who require autonomy without being cut off from the rest of the team.
3. Executive HAT System (with Modesty Panel)
For the management areas, we provided executive HAT workstations equipped with a hidden trap door for discreet wire management, a modesty panel, and integrated side and back storage compartments. This configuration enhances functionality while maintaining a clean, uncluttered look—offering ample workspace and a sense of professional privacy ideal for decision-makers and department heads.
4. Standard Meeting Tables
To facilitate group discussions and cross-team interactions, we also included our standard meeting tables, offering clean lines, durability, and visual consistency across the workplace.
Throughout the office, the furniture finishings and color selections were carefully matched to the biophilic design theme—enhancing the natural tones, improving visual harmony, and creating a calm, restorative atmosphere.
This project is a testament to our ability to deliver customized, scalable solutions that blend seamlessly into a client’s interior vision while supporting the way their teams work. At Versalink, we believe great workspaces are built on purposeful design, ergonomic support, and aesthetic cohesion.
